Basic daily care fees
This is a general accommodation fee which is required to be paid by all care recipients. A basic daily fee is used to contribute towards your day-to-day living costs such as meals, cleaning, laundry, heating and cooling.
The mean tested fees are an additional contribution towards the cost of care that some people may be required to pay.
Behind every aged care recipient is a certain level of government funding and the Means-tested fee ensures that care recipients, who have the income and assets to do so, help contribute towards their own funding. This fee is not retained by Waverley Valley.
All care recipients who can afford to will have the choice of paying for their accommodation through a Daily Accommodation Payment or a Refundable Accommodation Deposit, or a combination of both. Description of the room types and associated pricing are detailed in the following link.
Extra service fee
Extra Services includes additional services or lifestyle extras, including higher standards of accommodation and food choices and attracts an additional daily charge.
