Basic daily care fees

This is a general accommodation fee which is required to be paid by all care recipients. A basic daily fee is used to contribute towards your day-to-day living costs such as meals, cleaning, laundry, heating and cooling.

Means-tested fee

The mean tested fees are an additional contribution towards the cost of care that some people may be required to pay.

Behind every aged care recipient is a certain level of government funding and the Means-tested fee ensures that care recipients, who have the income and assets to do so, help contribute towards their own funding. This fee is not retained by Waverley Valley.
